DETAIL ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Upon arrival in Hanoi we will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to our hotel. We are then free and at our leisure until dinner time. We will then meet our guide again and go to the Water Puppet Theater to see the show. Afterwards we will go out for our Welcome Dinner to a fine local restaurant.

Day 2: Hanoi – Night train to Sapa
Hanoi, has to travelers, become one of the most beguiling cities in Southeast Asia. It’s slow-paced yet quick to charm, with a lovely landscape of lakes, shaded boulevards, verdant public parks and French-colonial architecture. Hanoi personifies the spirit of historic Vietnam in the temples, monuments and pockets of ancient culture along the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, yet perfectly reflects the rapid changes sweeping the country as Hanoian Yuppies sip cappuccinos in roadside cafes and compare cell phones.
Our trip will start at 08:00AM. We will visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex with The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. We will then stop for lunch at K.O.T.O restaurant. K.O.T.O, founded by Vietnamese Australian Jimmy Pham, is a non-profit organization which is run by local children who Jimmy recruited from the streets. After lunch the group will then visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam, the Ethnology museum. We then drive back to the centre and visit Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. Afterwards we will transfer back to our hotel to prepare for the trip to Sapa in the evening. The train departs Hanoi at 22:00, and arrives in Lao Cai Railway Station at around 06:30AM the next morning. We will stay in a 4 soft sleeper berth cabin with air conditioner.

Day 3: Sapa
Upon arrival in Lao Cai Railway station, at around 06:00AM, we will be met by a local guide and transfer up to Sapa town where we will have breakfast at a local restaurant. We may be tired after a night on the train but the fresh
atmosphere and splendid view of the Northwest Mountain will help us relax and retain interest in our up coming trip. Arriving at the hotel after a one hour drive we can then check in and take a shower before going out to visit the town. In the morning we can climb up Ham Rong Mountain for the overview of Sapa town and the villages where will later visit. After lunch we will have time to walk through the local market to Cat Cat village, home of the H’mong, ethnic minority people. Once we walk to the village, which is nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet with local minority people along the way and have a chance to visit their homes in order to share cultures with the families who live here. In the late afternoon we will walk back to the town to join the local market. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa – Home-stay
Today we descend into one of the most picturesque valleys in the region. We arrive at the small village of Ta Van inhabited by the Tay minority. Here we will be their guests in a traditional home stay.

Day 5: Sapa – Night train to Hanoi
We continue our trek through some stunning scenery passing through several ethnic villages along the way. Later we meet up with our support vehicle and transfer back to Lao Cai to catch our overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay (private boat)
Bien Ngoc Junk is one of the best Junk Boats in Ha Long Bay. These Vietnamese style Junks are very well equipped with well trained, friendly crews. You can have your dream private cruise in a seclude bay while enjoy wonderful service and a comfortable stay onboard. At 8.00AM we will be picked up at our hotel by private car or bus and transfer to Ha Long. On the way we will stop at one of the Humanity Centers for a short break. Arrivng at Ha long at noon, we will be transferred directly to our Private Junk. After a fabulous lunch on board, in the afternoon, we have a chance to explore the bay to see Incense Burner Islet, Titop beach, Cock Fighting Islet and Sung Sot Cave. Later in the afternoon we will anchor for the night in this seclude bay. We will have time for swimming and kayaking or simply relaxing in the deckchair. Dinner will be serving on boat.

Day 7: Halong Bay - Hanoi – Fly to Danang – Transfer to Hoi An
In the morning you will awaken to the sound of the ocean while enjoying the sunrise. After breakfast we will have a chance to see the tunnel cave by either kayak or bamboo Sampan. We will visit Bai Tu Long bay, Con Coc Island, Turtle Island and Ha Long fishing village. We also have a chance to visit Bai Tho Mountain and Hon Gai town as well as Ha Long city's famous suspension bridge. After an onboard lunch we will disembark at the warf and transfer to the airport in order to take the flight to Danang. Upon arrival at Danang airport we will transfer to Hoi An. We can then check in to our hotel and relax.

Day 8: Hoi An
In the morning we can take a short walk around the town to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, which is over 400 years old, the Chinese Assembly Hall, Tan Ky House, and Tran’s family temple. We can also visit the local markets which sell typical local delicacies. It is thought that it was constructed in order to link the two communities. In the afternoon we are free and at our leisure to relax at the beach or simply go shopping.

Day 9: Hoi An – Fly to Saigon at 13:40
We can relax at the beach in the morning and transfer to Danang Airport and take the short flight to Saigon.

Day 10: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels
We will be met at the Reception Hall of the hotel at 08:30AM and transfer to the biggest city in Vietnam. The first destination is the Reunification Palace where the Vietnamese Liberation Army gained victory in the American War in 1975. The second place we visit is the War Remnants Museum. This is a place where you can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting American and French war crimes. The Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post office and Ben Thanh market are the last places we will visit before going to a local restaurant for lunch.
At 14:00PM we leave Saigon for the Cu Chi tunnels, otherwise known as the "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". On our way there we will drive through pleasant countryside, rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers. We arrive back at the hotel around 18:00PM.

Day 11: Saigon – Mekong Delta
This morning we set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for its floating market. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to Vinh Long. We will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish', before
continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Towards the end of the day we will arrive at the home of a local family whose house is built on stilts over the water. These people will be our hosts for the evening and will tell us more about life in the Delta. (Home-stay).

Day 12: Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh City
Rising early to the sounds of the Delta coming to life for another day, we will have breakfast before boarding our riverboat once more for a cruise to Vinh Long town, stopping along the way to visit some local cottage industries. Following this we will rendezvous with our vehicle for the drive to the town of My Tho, where we will visit the Dong Tam Snake Farm and the Vinh Trang pagoda, before our return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 13: Saigon – Fly to Siem Reap at 11:45
This morning we transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport to take a short flight to Siem Reap. VN827 11:40AM – 12:40PM. Upon arrival in Siem Reap we will transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon we will also visit the Roluos Group. This includes the three temples of Preahko, Loile, and the mountain temple of Pre Rup and will take until sunset. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14: Angkor Temple complex
In the morning we will visit Angkor Wat, the most famous of all the temples in Angkor complex. We will then visit the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Buddhas), the Royal
Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Sunset at Angkor Wat. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 15: Angkor Temple complex
In the morning we transfer to Banteay Srei temple (the Womans temple), (25 km) which is regarded as the jewel in the crown of Classical Khmer Art. We Continue to Ta Prohm (the Jungle temple). Lunch will be at the hotel. In the afternoon, you can continue your temple visits to Preah Khan and then Neak Pean, , Ta Som and Banteay Samre. In the evening we will go to the Champa restaurant for our Farewell Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
